Access

Yurihama is located in west Japan about three hours from Osaka. These are the easiest ways to reach the town. The Town of Yurihama also has good instructions for how to reach the town.

Airplane:

Take one of several flights from Haneda Airport to Tottori Airport. Buses to Tottori Station arrive after every flight. Take the JR line from Tottori Station to Kurayoshi. Hotel shuttles and taxis are available to Yurihama.

If you are flying in from the Kansai airport, take a train from the airport to Shin Osaka. From there take the Super Hakuto Express to Kurayoshi.

Train:

Take a train or shinkansen to Shin Osaka. Take the Super Hakuto to Kurayoshi.

*Please note that tickets for the Super Hakuto express must be purchased in advance. The line also shares a line with another rail line, so you will be responsible for additional fees if you are using a JR Rail pass. Please reserve tickets through your travel agent or a JR “Midori no Madoguchi.”
