Yurihama (湯梨浜町)is a town in the middle of the Tottori Prefecture of Japan. Formed in the merger of the towns of Hawai, Togo, and Tomari in 2004, Yurihama’s name comes from a particular trait of each of the former towns: the yu (湯) represents Hawai’s hot springs, ri (梨)comes from Togo’s famous 20th Century Pears, and hama (浜) refers to the beaches of Tomari.
